As a reminder to those Precinct Committeemen who have not submitted their precinct boards to the elections office that the deadline is NEXT TUESDAY, April 17. Please be sure to make calls to your previous workers, friends, neighbors, or off the future poll workers sheet to fill your boards by next Tuesday.
We are still in need of a few election board workers throughout the county. If you are interested in working, please contact the office at (317) 849-9600. Positions available are Inspectors, who are paid $150 for the day and a training session the week before the election; Judges, who are paid $95 for the day; and Clerks, who are paid $95 for the day. The hours on election day are 5:30am until 6:30pm. You can work outside your home precinct, but will need to vote absentee.
